My name is Sandra Morgan. I am a BACP registered and qualified Counsellor based in Winchester.

As human beings, I believe we are each wonderfully individual with an innate capacity for growth. Yet, the path towards reaching our full potential can sometimes become clouded by the messages we've internalised or the difficult experiences we've endured.

I'm here to walk alongside you with empathy and without judgement as you reflect on your journey, explore what’s holding you back, and discover meaningful ways to move forward.

Alongside my private practice, I volunteer at a national bereavement charity and have been involved in facilitating a local mental health support group. I also have experience of counselling in a sixth form college. Before training as a counsellor, I worked in a number of pastoral roles including teaching.

Seeking Counselling

At Growthful Counselling, I work with people over the age of 18 through a range of challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety, fear, depression, loss, bereavement, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem and identity.

Inclusivity is a core value of mine, and I strive to deliver a service that respects and honours diversity. I will also endeavour to facilitate any adjustments to improve access to sessions.

Booking Sessions

I offer an initial free 20 minute consultation session - either over the phone or on-line -to discuss what has led you to counselling.

Regular sessions are 50 minutes and cost £55

I offer sessions either in person in Winchester or online.

Ethical and Legal

Confidentiality

I am committed to offering you a confidential and supportive space where you can safely explore the experiences that have brought you to counselling. In rare situations, there may be ethical or legal reasons that require me to consider sharing information. More details about these circumstances can be found in my Limits to Confidentiality.

GDPR

I comply with the guidelines of the 2018 Data Protection Act and UK GDPR. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, ICO and my registration number is ZC085586.

All your records will be kept securely and I use an anonymised system and password protection.

Ethical Practice

As a registered member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, BACP, I adhere to their ethical guidelines for good practice. I regularly attend sessions with a supervisor to ensure that I am working ethically, effectively and safely. I am also very committed to continuing my professional development through regularly attending CPD courses.
