Welcome

Offering a safe place to explore, heal and grow

About me

Choosing the right counsellor can feel overwhelming, so let me introduce myself.  I’m Sandra, a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I understand that life can be challenging and that difficult experiences or internalised messages can leave us feeling stuck or uncertain. At the same time, I believe each person has an innate capacity to grow and flourish when they feel safe and understood.

You may be experiencing anxiety or depression, coping with bereavement, facing relationship difficulties, exploring your identity, or recovering from trauma. Whatever brings you here, having a supportive space to explore your thoughts and feelings can be a powerful step forward.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside many individuals through their unique challenges and have particular experience supporting people living with grief and loss.

My approach is collaborative, empathetic and non-judgemental - your experiences will be valued. Together, we will deepen your self-understanding and develop tools to help you navigate the challenges you’re facing.

About Counselling

Our connection matters, which is why I offer a free initial conversation. This gives you the opportunity to share what’s bringing you to counselling and to see whether we feel like a good fit.

I believe that each person is wonderfully unique, so I will tailor my approach to your individual needs and work at a pace that feels right for you.

You may find it helpful to use our sessions to work through current challenges or it may be that you want to explore a past experience.  If you enjoy being creative, we can include opportunities for creative expression into our sessions, for example using art. Alternatively, you may prefer a more insight-based approach, helping you to make sense of your thoughts and experiences. Whatever your preference, my role will be to offer a supportive space where you can find peace, develop deeper self-understanding, and discover tools for meaningful change.

Sessions are typically weekly and can take place either in person in Winchester or online.  We will also regularly take time to reflect on our work together and make any adjustments needed to support you effectively.
